But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet in-house and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more .

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a JJ's Operations Manager / Depot Manager, you will have a sense of urgency, be a natural people leader, with a customer focus and the ability to see the bigger picture, set objectives, and deliver results.
We are seeking an enthusiastic leadership professional to oversee our operations in Canberra and surrounds.
Lead the team and champion the day-to-day business functions
New role due to continued growth in the area.
You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
On a day-to-day basis, the work will include things like: Manage all functions across the Canberra site with 25+ employeesPlan for and react to changeEngage, lead and develop the team, and see it throughDeliver the overall branch strategyDrive ongoing improvement initiativesEnsure a high-level safety and customer service cultureSupport and motivate the sales team to achieve growth targetsEnsure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements ABOUT YOU Experience working in a similar roleKPI and customer focused with the ability to perform under pressureThe ability to prioritise, think laterally and make things happenTransport/Logistics/Mobile Service industry experience, where you managed a fleet and team of driversBe an approachable and supportive leaderContinuous improvement focusedWell-developed people and time management skillsKPI focused with the ability to perform under pressureAble to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medicalDemonstrate the ability to be a quick learner in a fast-paced and varied roleStrong work ethic, integrity, honesty and commitmentAbility to learn new internal programs and technologyBe proactive and strive to upskillA commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard BENEFITS
