Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking a new challenge in the resource sector?
Our client, an ASX-listed multi-mine coal business, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their high-performing Brisbane-based team.
Representing an industry leader, we are searching for a professional who can thrive in a dynamic environment and play a pivotal role as 2IC to the Financial Controller.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead key financial functions and drive operational excellence.
You'll oversee the Group's month-end close and corporate reporting processes, while ensuring compliance with ASX and regulatory requirements.
Leveraging your heavy industry expertise, you'll support SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and audit management, contributing to the overall financial success of the business.Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end close process and ensure accurate corporate reporting;Oversee the timely preparation and review of Group account reconciliations;Support SG&A budgeting and forecasting activities;Assist with ASX and other regulatory reporting requirements;Ensure the successful completion of internal and external audits;Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations;Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align financial processes with business objectives.About YouCA / CPA qualified with demonstrated post-qualification experience;Strong technical expertise in financial and regulatory reporting;Proficient in SAP S/4HANA (Desirable);Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills;Experience in mining or resource industries is highly desirable.Why This Role?Join a market-leading ASX-listed organisation with multiple mining operations;Competitive salary package with a 25% bonus component;Work flexibility, including two days from home each week;Opportunity to contribute to a business driving operational and financial excellence.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Dharan Chond at u&u on or email quoting reference number 40041.At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
