The Role
The role is responsible for creating, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the Commercial market (> 500+ seats), selling targeted managed services, private & public cloud, and cyber security services in a whitespace territory.
You will be accountable for meeting sales targets and contributing to AUCloud/AUCyber growth KPIs.
You are expected to drive high volume transactional sales, acquire new clients, and deliver great customer engagement experiences.

You will have demonstrable experience in actively prospecting (calling) to identify growth opportunities and develop (and implement) strategies to win and increase the sales of AUCloud/AUCyber offerings products, services, and capabilities in the enterprise market.
You will work collaboratively with the Cyber, Pre-Sales, Managed Services, and Professional Service teams to drive service adoption across net new customers.

Day to day you will:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, managing the entire sales process from lead generation (calling) to closing deals.
Understand your target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract & close new customers within the commercial sector.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
Develop and execute a sales plan that assists in the expansion of the AUCloud/AUCyber customer base and achieves defined sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
Own your customers' experience and journey, from solution proposition through transition to delivery.
Maintain strong knowledge of AUCloud/AUCyber service offerings and the ability to present them with intelligence and conviction.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at enterprise companies.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Update and prepare sales reports, forecast, and manage the sales process through Hubspot.
Mentor and support sales team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Contribute effectively to regular sales meetings and wider sales strategy.
Skills and experience
This role requires full working rights in Australia (no current or future sponsorship will be offered).

You are a high performing sales professional, a proven hunter with a strong history of consistently exceeding quota.
Previous customer book in Cloud, Back Up's, Cyber and Managed Service, so you can hit the ground running.
A fearless and strategic approach to cold calling and prospecting and a performance-oriented with a strong results-driven mindset.

Ideally, you possess a minimum of 10+ years' experience in Cloud, Managed Services, Cyber Security sales with meaningful experience selling technology services or information security services to commercial customers (solution selling and/or value selling highly regarded).

You bring demonstrable ability to win new customers and understand how to leverage the considerable assets of your organisation to grow your accounts using your strong negotiation skills and ability to work to achieve win-win outcomes.

You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement with an ability to build credibility both internally and externally at all levels.
