Reporting to the PSG Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will assist with the service and repair of the customer's fleet of Caterpillar machinery, applying excellent fault-finding/diagnostic skills with a customer service focus while also holding a high regard for safety.
Location: BHP Area C
Roster: FIFO – 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off, 12.5 hours each day, inclusive of 30 min unpaid break.
To be successful, the following is required:
Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate HR Licence is essential Demonstrated ability to work autonomously Excellent fault-finding skills, troubleshooting, and diagnostics Previous post-trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment (advantageous) Alignment with WesTrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect, and Customer Experience on 793F trucks, 994K loaders, and 18M graders is essential Experience on C175 CAT engines would guide you to success What we offer:
