Café Manager required for a well-established Australianbusiness (Café) "GRAZEAND GOBLET PTY LTD T/A BREWING BLISS " locatedat 40 LAKESIDE BLVD PAKENHAM VIC3810. Prospective applicants musthave good prior experience of working commercially as a chef. Duties include.
Coordinate daily cafe management (Front of the house & back of thehouse) operations. Maintain business's revenue, profitability, and quality goals. Recruiting, training, and supervision of staff Consulting with chef when plan the menus. Plan and organize special functions for our catering company. Gather information for the catering events (Number of guests, eventdate) Pricing of the goods according to the budget.Review product quality. Calculating and comparing costs for required goods and services toachieve maximum value for money. Setting budgets and controlling expenditure of the businesses Follows management cash handling, inventory and other operationalprocedures as outlined by the employer. Maintain record of the stock levels. Arrange the purchase of goods. Maintain records of the financial transactions Keep the dining area clean, functional and of suitable appearance as perthe standards of the hospitality industry. Talk to the customers for their special needs for the café orders andfor our catering company. Take reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders. Develop schedule for regular evaluation of facilities. Motivate and develop staff to ensure they dotheir job to the best of their ability. Plan, coordinate and supervise the activities of workers in dining rooms,kitchens, bars, and other areas. Make sure that occupational health and safety regulations are met. Manage restaurant's good image and undertake the promoting &marketing procedures for the restaurant. Producing staff roasters Handling customer's enquiries and complaints Setting targets.Implement policies and protocols. In Return, for your commitment and skills, you willreceive a competitive salary package 75K (Plus Super) and receive ongoingtraining with the opportunity to develop your skills. Applicants with formalqualifications (AQF associate degree, advanced diploma or a diploma) with 2years of practical experience working as a café/restaurant manager will beprioritized. Significant commercialexperience (At least 3 years) can substitute for formal qualifications. Position is available full time, 38hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days/week and willing to workodd hours (Weekend, public holidays & late shifts).
