Why not see where we can go?Job DescriptionWe have a newly created opportunity available in our Retirement and Wealth business as a Retirement Growth Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager, Retirement and Wealth, you will be responsible for developing deep relationships with new and existing partners to TAL as well as consultants and other market participants.This is a client-facing role with key stakeholder management and relationship-building accountabilities.
You will play a critical role in proactively and effectively managing the delivery of high-quality engagement to our prospects and other market players.In this role you will:Deeply understand TAL's strategy and retirement proposition in the industryTailor and showcase TAL capabilities, proposition, and people to audiences/funds depending on their needs and objectivesProactively identify and build relationships with new retirement and investment opportunities in the industry fund and retail/platforms segmentsGather and document market intel on an ongoing basis and provide reporting on this and pipeline activityDevise the retirement partnerships strategy for approval by the senior leadership teamDocument and execute a structured 12-month calendar of business development activity to be updated on an ongoing basisUnderstand market challenges and represent TAL as a market leader in thought leadership and solution developmentSupport the ongoing development and implementation of initiatives and projects to enhance service delivery for our partnersLead new business tender responses, using the intel obtained through engagement to develop the win themes and ensure a leading submission is providedTake full accountability for delivery of the tender response on time, building a bid team across the TAL businessQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualificationComprehensive knowledge of superannuation and retirement solutions and how they interact in the marketKey understanding of current and proposed regulations impacting superannuation and life insurance industryExcellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to develop relationships, negotiate, and obtain key information to support a tender processAbility to support the project management of institutional tender responsesStrong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategicallyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsYou're always accountable for your actions.
