Our client is a leading infrastructure company with a global presence.
Founded over 15 years ago, they are continuing to embark on their growth journey and have created an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer with 2+ years experience who is looking to make their next career move with a leading business.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
End-to-end accounts payable, including processing and paying high-volume and multi-currency transactions Verifying and investigating discrepancies through reconciling vendor accounts and statements Creating and managing supplier contact cards Reconciliations of the accounts payable ledger Raising POs in a timely manner, including coding and classification accuracy Accurately accounting for GST on invoices ensuring compliance around GST classification Generating reports detailing accounts payables status Responsibility for month-end balance sheet reconciliations for aged payables and assisting with month-end journals as required The Expertise
