Provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of the unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.
In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the Emergency Department.
Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security, and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
