Associate Clinical Nurse Consultant

Permanent part time opportunity to work collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Consultant HAART to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the specialty of geriatrics and rehabilitation nursing.

About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Respond appropriately to, and provide support and direction to manage, sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/person using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise person centred care and organisational outcomes by undertaking projects and research and policy review as required.Participate in the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
