Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products) Casual/Vacation Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets.
We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
The Inspirations Paint Airport West store is looking for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant to join the business in a casual position.
The successful applicant must have paint knowledge/experience in the paint industry, be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.
Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects would also be an advantage.
The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages and a uniform.
Business hours are 6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sunday.
You will be required to work some weekends on rotation.
Responsibilities include: Following our "Inspirations Way" proceduresProviding exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customersTinting and mixing paint, colour advice and matchingPaint and accessory deliveries as requiredStore presentation, stock management and housekeepingReporting to the Store ManagerAdhere to Workplace Health & Safety requirementsExperience / Attributes: A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environmentPractical experience in home improvement projects desirableProven customer service and sales experience with a strong knowledge of sales processesAble to problem solve using advanced communication skillsA willingness to learn and continually improveAble to contribute and work in a small team environmentFull, current driver's licenceHonest, reliable and punctualBasic computer skillsThis role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgsIf you are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you.
