Responsibilities Determine technical suitability of analyzer for application and prepare data-sheetPerform basic engineering calculationsPerform detail design and engineering of analytical systems including layout drawings, structural drawings, sampling schematic, wiring drawings, HVCAC design, third party system integration (DCS/AMADAS/DAS)Selection of electrical equipment suitable for hazardous area classification according to various standardsPrepare Master Bill of Material, issue Material Request, evaluate technical quote and coordinate with Sourcing/PM for buyout materialsSupport QC/Production/Service Engineer for quality checks, fabrication and testing activitiesPrepare final documentationsRequirements At least 2 years relevant experience in the analytical system integration industry preferredFamiliar with various industry standards, e.g.
IEC, ASME, ISO etcFamiliar with specific country/area regulatory and certification requirements, e.g.
Russia, Australia, Offshore, etcProficient in MS OfficeChemical Engineering Calculations (Phase Envelope, Flow Calculation, Pressure Drop Calculation, Heating Calculation, etc)Industrial knowledge in oil and gas/structural/mechanical/power and signal distribution/networking/PLC/control system designKnowledge in hazardous area installationGood communication skills and versatileYokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
