Our equipment is exported around the world, with the company being the recipient of many prestigious export awards.
Based in Mt Gravatt, the Brisbane design and manufacturing facility is the Head Office for Australia, SE Asia, India, China, Europe, UK and Africa operations.
About the Role
In your new role you will install and commission food processing systems, machinery, parts and electrical equipment on customer sites.
You will hand-over to customers and obtain project acceptance on installation sites world-wide.
This includes:
Installation and commissioning of food process systems and equipment.
Supervision of on-site personnel.
Assisting with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
Responding to and arranging repair of system/equipment breakdown.
Customer training.
Regular overseas travel.
About you
To be successful, you will need:
Electrical Ticket/Licence, preferably in QLD, but NSW or VIC would be suitable.
At least 5 years' experience with PLC programming, specifically Alan Bradley and Siemens.
Familiar with networking, VFD (variable frequency drives), control loops, temperature controllers, burners and burner controls.
Food industry experience advantageous.
Great trouble shooting skills.
Ability to travel internationally at short notice and for extended periods of time.
An understanding of equipment technical specifications and application to processing systems.
Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Well-developed planning and organisational skills.
Full Australian working rights.
This is a unique position and carries additional responsibility to support our products and customers internationally regardless of region.
Accordingly, the position carries the expectation that the successful candidate will be willing to travel freely in support of installation and site works.
Regular overseas travel is required.
