Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor , the well-versed Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic will assist in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Caterpillar products.
Your responsibilities will involve carrying out repairs, maintenance, and servicing while managing work orders.
You will be required to carry out product improvement plans and product support programs whilst maintaining a safe work environment.
Location: There are currently multiple positions available at KCGM
Roster: 7 days, 3 off, 7 nights, 4 off.
12-hour shifts (Residential only)
To be successful, the following is required:
Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience Demonstrated ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines Work well within a team Have a strong passion for quality of work & continuous improvement principles Previous mechanical experience working on Caterpillar products desirable but not essential What we offer:
