Civium Facilities Management is expanding its established portfolio with exciting new developments.
As a result, we have an opportunity for an experienced Building Manager or a skilled tradesperson seeking a career change to join our Canberra-based Management team.
It is highly client-focused, with an emphasis on providing exceptional service and enhancing the experience of our clients.
Our Building Managers are the onsite ambassadors of the property group, playing a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring operational excellence.
We are seeking professionals who are organized, solutions-focused, and dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
Duties of the role include: Effective management of all contractors on site including performance and quality control Be the buildings main point of contact (POC) for all stakeholders Manage the complex(s) on-site operational requirements Implementation of Maintenance Plans Maintaining up-to-date site-specific documentation and contractor compliance Assist in identifying and implementing systems and processes to enhance the complex(s) overall operating efficiency Site-specific access control, security system management, and key management What We Offer: Autonomy in your role with the freedom to manage your tasks A variety of work assignments to keep your job interesting Opportunities for career progression within the company A uniform, iPad, and iPhone for professional use A company vehicle Career progression and continuous professional development Corporate Volunteer leave Long term career stability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Rewards and discounted shopping program To be successful in this role you will have previous Building Management and/or trade background experience and demonstrate the following: 2+ year's experience in building management with a strong focus on WHS Trade background is preferred Excellent customer service and people management skills Proficient in IT Systems Excellent problem-solving skills A positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work autonomously and within a wider team Professional presentation & strong communication, both written and spoken Ambitious and looking to grow within a role We attract, retain, and promote people who share a sense of purpose, values and belonging.
