As a Developer at Canstar Group, you will be a vital part of our tech team, designing, building, and maintaining innovative web applications that help customers compare financial and consumer products.
You'll work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, Agile environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on our users' experience.
Key Responsibilities: Team Collaboration: Be an active member of a cross-functional Agile team.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to deliver exceptional solutions.
Lead projects, mentor peers, and contribute innovative ideas.Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through constructive feedback.Performance Optimization: Enhance web applications to ensure speed, scalability, and smooth user experiences.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve our development processes and tech stack.Issue Management: Proactively identify, triage, and manage bugs or faults, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently with your team.Testing: Develop and maintain best practices for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in Software Development or a relevant field.Strong knowledge of modern front-end architectures, ideally with Angular 2+ or React.Solid experience with Agile methodologies and technical documentation.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Cloud deployment (AWS, Docker).Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management and collaboration.Experience with additional modern web frameworks (e.g., NgRx, Headless CMS).Understanding of Core Web Vitals and SEO optimization.Exposure to DevOps platforms (e.g., Harness) and Hasura (GraphQL compiler).Familiarity with WordPress and comparison service applications is a plus.At Canstar Group, our inclusive vision is to create a workplace where our people feel safe and confident to bring their unique selves to work.
