We have 1,000 talented team members across Australia & every one of us is passionate about innovation, sustainability & quality.About the roleWe are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our busy hygiene team at our salad processing facility in Bairnsdale.
You will be responsible for working towards achieving hygiene targets while working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards.
Afternoon shift available.
We do work some public holidays and Sundays during our peak
period (penalty rates apply) .Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise teams of hygiene workersMotivate and mentor teams to encourage positive morale and high productivityAchieving output and room clearance targetsMaintain a strong focus on working safely and adhere to food safety and cleanliness standardsWork in a cold room environment (between 2 and 4 degrees)About YouExperience within FMCG, as a team leader or similar experienceMust be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 5-20kgAbility to think on your feet and outside the boxHands on approach to achieving KPI'sHigh accuracy rate and excellent attention to detailProficient computer and organizational skillsSome knowledge of CI (Lean Manufacturing concepts) - highly regarded but not essentialPromoting process changesAwareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP, would be good but we will train youWhat we are proud ofOne Harvest are industry leaders in the Fresh Food/ FMCG industry with more than 25 years of experience.
