The Role
As the result of growth in the business there has been an opportunity to expand our IT team with an addition to the team.
As the IT Systems Analyst you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that align with business requirements.
This role serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that systems are efficient, effective, and in support of Bielby's business operations.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of existing systems and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in IT and business projects, providing expertise in system analysis and solution design.
Collaborate with Bielby stakeholders to define system requirements, develop use cases, and model business processes.
Support project teams with system analysis, testing, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Create data flow diagrams, process models, and other system documentation.
Ensure that system designs comply with organisational standards and meet performance, scalability, and security needs.
Create and maintain user documentation, including system manuals and training materials.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective system usage.
Document system processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference and audits.
Coordinate with the Managed Service Provider for system integration, network and deployment activities.
About You
Minimum of 5 years' experience in delivering and managing IT solutions to organisations Tertiary qualification in the field of Computer Science or Certifications such as ITIL, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Systems Analysis related disciplines is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and system integration.
Experience in database management, querying, and reporting.
Experience working in the construction/resources sectors beneficial, but not required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within project deadlines.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
