Product Compliance Manager

**About the role**

ready2order is looking for a Product Compliance Manager with a background in tax consultancy or tax audits who will take ownership of all compliance topics, ensuring that local requirements and regulations are followed and discovering opportunities to improve our product.

As part of our product team you will report directly to our VP of Product and will work closely with almost all our departments, from our cross functional teams, to Marketing, Customer Success and our Management.
**What you will do**
- You take ownership of all tax compliance matters in our company and as the topic expert, you are the main point of contact for compliance
- Ensure that we as a company, our product and our customers are in accordance with local compliance requirements and regulations (Austria & Germany)
- Proactively research and stay on top of any legislation changes and updates that affect our product and our customers and make recommendation in time to update our product and inform our customers
- Discover optimisation potentials in our product not only from a compliance perspective but also from an accounting / tax advisor / audit point of view and suggest improvements on the interface and new features to bring more value to our customers
- Consult our Customer Success team on complex customer inquiries and issues
- Support our customers by writing blog articles about legislation / regulation changes or best practices in close collaboration with our Content team
- Collaborate with our Marketing campaign team to provide our customers with valuable reminders on annual financial processes or preparing them for upcoming regulation changes

- Background in tax consultancy or tax audits (AT or DE), ideally with tax advisor exam
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership, self-motivation and self-organization, with the ability to drive topics on your own initiative
- Affinity for technology and product management
- HIgh empathy for customers and a strong customer centric mindset
- Read and understand legal documents and the ability to translate them into easily digestible messages
- Ideally a university degree in Economics, Business Law or Business Informatics
- You speak both German and English (company language) fluently

According to Austrian law we are required to post the minimum collective salary for this position is EUR 52.220 gross per year. Of course, we are willing to pay a higher salary depending on qualification and experience.
