Community Manager

In this role, you'll support our open source projects in creating and nurturing incredible communities. You'll collaborate with project teams, external contributors, foundations, and product managers to grow their projects and create and interact with the community by organizing engaging, educational, and incredible events.

Join the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) and actively contribute to the future of Dynatrace and our growing open source investment, which is an important part of our strategy. The OSPO is a multidisciplinary team of experts working with internal stakeholders, partners, cloud vendors, communities, and key customers to learn about emerging technologies early and make sure that Dynatrace is always ahead of the game. Some examples of the projects and organizations we're involved in Keptn, OpenTelemetry, OpenFeature, CNCF/CDF/OpenSSF/TODO Group, and internal open source initiatives.

**Your role**
- Build a social media and content strategy for our open source projects.
- Responsible for growing communities and maintaining/improving community-health.
- Coordinate your work and marketing schedule with Dynatrace marketing teams, the open source community, foundation marketing teams, and our technical partners.
- Define a set of metrics and KPIs to monitor and continuously improve community initiatives.
- Execute in-person and digital community events from end-to-end, such as weekly community meetings, and in-person community days at conferences for our projects (Keptn, OpenFeature, and more)
- Be the point person to plan and manage virtual events around open source both internally and externally, working with the OSPO, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitating community contributions to the content strategy using various reward systems and community events.

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally, you have work experience either as a community manager or social media manager and have a proven track record of building communities.
- Familiarity with open-source practices and communities. Experience with leading community management, events, or marketing initiatives in open source will be a plus.
- You have experience in planning and promoting in-person and digital events.
- You’re not afraid of trying out new event formats to keep participants engaged but you’re also familiar with proven set-ups and best practices for event planning.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Other languages will be a plus.

- Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a** higher salary** in line with qualifications and experience.
