**Your role**:

- You are passionate about protecting people and our environment, take responsibility and be a leading authority for Process Safety
- You want to be part of a committed group of engineers with excellent team spirit
- Actively contribute to a safe an excellent OMV
- Performing complex functional tasks in the area of Process Safety (e.g. audits, quality checks in HAZOP's, checks in the Integrated Risk Register-IGRR)
- Coordinate Risk Management activities like IGRR work shops
- Participate in Process Safety reviews, audits, incident investigations, tollgate reviews and lessons learnt
- Develop functional specific Process Safety plans for operations and projects and support the implementation of these plans
- Develop training material, support training delivery and provide guidance to enhance general Process Safety awareness
- Interact with our company-wide most experienced process safety engineers
- Comprehensive understanding of all elements within the discipline of Process Safety
- Enabling cross divisional learning by using the best approaches from all parts of the company

**Your profile**:

- Master Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience
- Working experience in refining and chemical operations (operations/asset/integrity/process engineering or technical safety). **Experience in plant operations preferred**.
- You have good communication and facilitation skills, and an ability to organize resources and deliver to deadlines
- You know the refining business in depth and provide competent functional input to manage Process Safety risks
- Enabling cross divisional learning by using the best approaches from all parts of the company
