We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Manager to join our international team driving projects in the cutting-edge field of quantum computing. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading ion trap systems projects that will make useful quantum computers a reality. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects of varying complexity, leveraging your management and driving skills to deliver results. Within our Project Management (PJM) career path, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, taking on increasingly challenging projects that push the boundaries of quantum computing.

In your new job you will:

- **Manage multi-discipline project teams**across various Infineon sites with focus on technology development and assembly
- **Interact with different stakeholders,**including reporting to internal management, steering committee and external customers
- **Strengthen the collaboration and relationship with customers**, through both remote meetings and face-to-face workshops
- **Motivate and network with the project team**, including technology and wafer production counterparts
- **Perform risk assessments**and drive technical decision making
- **Bring a well-defined structure to complex projects**:

- **Be responsible for the project scope, budget, schedule, resource plan**as well as management of the project risks

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- **A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Quantum Mechanics**or related disciplin
- **At least 10 years of work experience in semiconductor technology development**or physics, with at least 5 years of **experience in project management**:

- **Leadership, stakeholder management, coordination**and networking skills
- **Excellent communication and moderation skills**, also within intercultural teams
- **Problem solving capabilities**, with both pragmatic and out-of-the-box thinking
- **Fluency in English**, German is a plus
