Director, Employee Relations and Compliance

You will provide guidance to both the organization on practices, policies, processes, and programs, to ensure we are operating within local regulatory or legislative requirements - and help drive and deliver strategic initiatives and projects.

Aligning with the global Employee Relations function, you will partner closely with HRBPs, leaders and employment counsel.

We are open for this role to be located within reasonable travel to one of main EMEA Hubs in Maidenhead (UK), Vienna, Linz, Barcelona or Poland.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Build strong partnerships throughout the business to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders and clients.
- Provide consultative expertise on employee relations matters ranging from basic to complex or high risk. Advise business leaders and internal experts to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations, working closely with our global compliance and legal functions.
- Oversee ER cases including disciplinary issues, grievances, performance management concerns, involuntary exits (including redundancies), sensitive and/or high-risk leaves of absence, investigations, employee complaints, and advise on settlements, accommodation, separations, and other matters to successful resolution.
- Advise HR teams on practices and approaches by country, build and maintain strong relationships across the territories, and support global managers on regional and local differences.
- Partner with HR team members to create and sustain positive employee relations programs and best practices.
- Design, communicate, interpret, and maintain ER policies, processes and educational programs for HR partners, employees, and managers as appropriate.
- Collect and analyze ER metrics to gather insights, determine trends and develop proactive strategies to remediate risk within the business. Regular reporting to stakeholders including cost analysis.
- In partnership with HRBP team, provide expertise, consultation, and coaching to all levels of the organization on ways to address employee behavior and performance concerns, including assisting on the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective action that aligns with company processes and policies.
- Keep abreast of, and effectively communicate employment law and legislative changes to ensure continued up to date compliance within the markets in which Dynatrace operates.
- Design, develop, and draft various employee-facing and HR Compliance-related policies and processes globally.

**Qualifications**:

- Experienced including at least 5 years in related management positions.
- Demonstrated practical experience in delivering ER & compliance solutions across EMEA, with a particular focus on the UK, DACH, France, BeNe & Poland
- Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale cultural change efforts while partnering with key stakeholders.
- Positive role model and strong work ethic. Commitment to the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
- Excellent consultative, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills; ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Able to independently juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant degree or qualifications preferred.
- Global experience and keen awareness of cultural distinctions and the implications on the public perception of Dynatrace’s brand.
- Goal-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity, and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
