**Sr. Medical Manager Operations (M/F/d), Sandoz ComOps, Wien, Austria **Your key responsibilities**: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: No 1 That is Sandoz on the Austrian Generic market with products "Made in Austria". Your key responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Develop and sustain medical knowledge for assigned products and therapeutic areas through attendance and / or participation at scientific symposia, congresses, literature review and scientific exchange with external experts. - Provide medical expert advice for assigned products and therapeutic areas, including responding to requests for medical information; coordinate the medical information process; provide content for expert medical education for health care professionals - Coordinate the medical training programs for internal staff; develop and deliver high quality training materials and education programs for the relevant products and therapy areas; deliver medical training to sales force and other departments - Provide medical insights and give scientific input into marketing strategy and initiatives - Prepare or advise the preparation of requests for approval of the local Medical Affairs activities; review against internal policies and requirements and approve medical part of marketing / commercial activities and materials for external use; be accountable for understanding compliance requirements, risk identification and assessment, mitigation planning as well as implementation and monitoring of appropriate internal controls; provide medical governance for the appropriate conduct of marketing / commercial projects, events and activities - Ensure compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations - Ownership and maintenance of local medical affairs processes - Act as Information Responsible Person (“Informationsbeauftragter”) according Austrian Drug Law - Act as Deputy of Head Medical Affairs, Sandoz Austria **Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**: - Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve._ **Minimum requirements** **What you’ll bring to the role**: **Essential**: Medical Doctor with practice experience or a degree (PharmD, PhD) with working experience in the health care environment or equivalent Work experiences as e.g. Medical Advisor, Medical Manager, or Medical Scientific Liaison in the pharma industry Strong understanding of the drug development process and clinical research activities and how to read / interpret study publications and clinical trial results Experience in developing and maintaining expert medical knowledge Excellent written, spoken and digital communication and presentation skills Pre-experience acting as information responsible person (“Informationsbeauftragter”) according Austrian Drug Law is an advantage Proven success in implementing / conducting State-of-the-Art Medical Activities (scientific symposia, educational programs etc.) and in scientific exchange with external experts Proficient in English and in German (read / write / speak) **Desirable requirements**: - A personality with a can-do mind-set and the ability to adapt to change - Proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs to advance the medical and scientific objectives of a pharmaceutical company - Pre-experience in a medical affairs leadership function in pharma industry **Why Sandoz?** 500 million patients were touched by Sandoz generic and biosimilar medicines in 2020 and while we’re proud of this, we know there is more we could do to continue to help pioneer access to medicines for people around the world. For this position the minimum salary is € 66.526/year (on a full time basis).
