Manufacturing company based in Austria who develop innovative products are looking for a category buyer who will play an important role in their procurement department. The company is going through a transformation and it's exciting times to be part of it.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for €50 million spend for direct commodities
- Strategically collaborate with the cross-functional teams to influence and create unique purchasing methods
- Work directly with R&D to create unique and innovative products
- Play an important part in the global transformation and delivering global projects
- Reporting directly to Head of Purchasing
- 20% travel

**Skills Experience Required**
- Relevant degree, mechanical engineering or MBA is preferred
- Have minimum of 3-5 years relevant purchasing experience, in fast-paced organizations with exposure to innovative and new approaches to procurement
- Successful track record in purchasing and negotiations with suppliers globally
- Experience with purchasing indirect materials such
- Fluent in English
