The Corporate Finance Advisory (CFA) Austria Team originates and advises on a wide array of M&A transactions in Austria and across borders in our core markets Italy, Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. Being part of the broader CE&EE Advisory group in the Corporate Solutions division with c.50 M&A professionals in 11 countries supported by Industry Sector teams in Munich and Milan, we are looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join and strengthen our advisory team in Vienna. **What you can expect from us**: - main responsibilities on the job: - Junior entry-level M&A position - Conducting company analysis and industry research - Company valuation and due diligence including complex excel modelling - Preparing materials and analyses for deal origination - Putting together various M&A deal deliverables such as information memorandums and other transaction materials in course of deal execution - Preparing presentations and other investment banking deliverables the program: - You will start the program directly in your target area and together with graduates from other areas as part of a group - A former graduate and a buddy (teammate) will support you in your onboarding and in building your network - As part of the graduate program, you will complete several rotations and experience stays in the business units around Commercial Banking (including experience stays in the branch), Finance, Risk Management as well as in the internal areas such as Audit, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, HR to get an overall view - You will receive professional training consisting of various modules, taught using different teaching methods such as Teams calls or classroom sessions and individually adapted to the respective target position to make you fit for the bank - Our so-called "Generation Lead", an experienced manager from the bank, supports you as a direct contact person and helps you to get the most out of the program - At numerous networking events, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with top management and draw attention to yourself - You will have the opportunity to get involved in different communities and participate in cross-divisional projects **What we expect from you**: We are looking for communicative, curious and open personalities who are familiar with new media, for whom teamwork and solution-oriented thinking are a matter of course and who are interested in exciting challenges. - Completed, relevant degree (Bachelor or Master), strong internship track record or comparable work experience and proven interest in corporate finance (valuation, financial statement analysis) - Initial practical experience (max. three years of professional experience). - Highly developed analytical and quantitative skills combined with willingness and ability to learn quickly - Ambitious, hard-working, and self-driven personality - Strong communication skills.
