Senior Multimedia Designer

**If you’re keen to take responsibility for the visuals of introducing our apps to the world and are looking for the opportunity to grow within a young team, then we’re looking for you Journi is hiring a multimedia designer**

At Journi, a creative tech company, we’re building the #1 most downloaded printing app in the world that allows customers to create beautiful photo books and other print products without effort. Using AI technology, we automatically create personalized designs based on the content our users want to print. Our apps are already used by more than 5 million people, have been featured by Apple and Google over 20,000 times, and covered by the likes of Forbes, the LA Times, and TechCrunch. **WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Work Full-Time (38.5 h/w) in a passionate, motivated and international team
- Work with the design and marketing team, bringing your own ideas to the table
- Plan, brainstorm, shoot, and edit high-quality video content (mainly for advertising, but also for other use)
- Create and edit Social-Media video content (Organic & Ads)
- Organize Photo and Video Shoots
- Organize & Record Voice-overs and Video Translations
- Understanding our product and audience, you can produce videos that make viewers fall in love with Journi
- You are able to create fresh visuals, think outside the box, give & receive feedback, inspire your teammates - In Journi we strongly encourage everyone to communicate openly and transparently

**YOUR BAG OF TRICKS**:

- Proven track record** (Demo reel / Portfolio required to apply)**
- At least 3 years of experience with Video Production experience, knowledge in filming and post-production
- Experience with video equipment (lights, audio, cameras etc.)
- High proficiency in video and photo editing software: DaVinci Resolve and/or Premiere Pro plus Adobe Creative Cloud
- Visual communication skills: Understanding of color, layouts, use of typography, composition etc.
- Highly organized & able to deliver on deadlines
- Has a pro-active, pragmatic & output-focused way of working
- Strong communication with your colleagues
- You’re a team player and can look beyond your own responsibilities to achieve company-wide goals
- You are active in the search for self-improvement, asking for feedback and self-motivated
- You’re an EU citizen or have a working visa for Austria (unfortunately we aren’t able to support non-EU citizens for this position)
- You are able to relocate to / based in Vienna - the world’s most liveable city

**NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)**:

- Understanding/Experience with 2D animations
- Directing experience
- Passion for (mobile) technology with a strong interest in photo/blogging apps
- Experience with Asana or similar project management systems
- Experience with sound editing and recording
- Experience with other editing software - After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
- Presentation skills
- 3D Software skills
