To strengthen our team we are currently looking for a (Junior) Business Controller for our global HR, Legal, and Finance budgets. Focusing on analyzing data, understanding the content behind the numbers, communicating fact-based insights to stakeholders, learning from your surroundings, and striving for constant improvement will help you excel in this role.
In addition, the willingness to start or strengthen your role as a future-proof finance sparring partner will be strongly supported (e.g. Analytics Tools, coding skills such as Python and R, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI). With the use of these analytics tools and coding know-how, you’ll bring yourself and the job to the next level.
**BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP**
- In this role, you are the Finance business partner for our HR, Legal, and Finance Managers. You work closely together with the departments and support them proactively in all finance and budget-relevant topics. You do this driven by a service mentality and by challenging, asking questions, and giving suggestions and insights.
- Moreover, you are responsible for making sure that Global Standards and Guidelines are met.
- This role also promotes efficiency in Controlling in order to minimize time spent on report generation and increase time for analysis, commenting, and insights sharing.
**PLANNING / FORECASTING**
- You act as the planning coordinator across various management levels to ensure data collection and data entry within our deadlines and fulfill all relevant planning deliveries on time.
- Based on content you challenge the budgets and provide monthly year-to-go estimates.
- You contribute to a high forecasting accuracy of business plans, revised estimates, and long-term forecasts.
**MONTH-END CLOSING / REPORTING / ANALYSIS**
- You are responsible for a timely distribution of financial information to every budget holder by enhancing your reports with insightful comments and by presenting the information in regular meetings.
- You support management in the review and tracking of department budgets.
- You ensure that master data (cost centers, internal orders, and hierarchies) across controlling systems is always updated in order to guarantee consistent standard reporting and ad hoc analysis.
**PROJECT WORK / CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION**
- Within projects, many of them cross functional, you will act as the Finance stakeholder to assure the interests of Finance. In addition to that, a constant improvement of existing tasks and processes, challenging the status quo, is highly appreciated.
- As HR-Controller you act as the key-user within Finance for all matters related to Workforce-Planning and Workforce-Reporting.
- Moreover, you will be responsible for the proper process of recharges, in order to comply with legal regulations, but also to portray correct cost-revenue matching.
**Qualifications**:
University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling
Excellent command of English. Knowledge of the German language is a plus
IT literate, excellent MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with any ERP system and any integrated business analysis tool is a plus (ERP - SD, FI, COPA / BI / Hyperion, etc)
Willingness to build on existing knowledge/ learn data analytics and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
Entrepreneurial spirit, team player, strong analytical skills, result

Able and willing to work with different topics in parallel in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, self-motivated, and strong communication skills
**Additional Information**:
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
