**WHO YOU ARE**:
- 5+ years of experience in similar positions in marketing, country management, or growth departments of eCommerce/marketplace players
- Very analytical, highly data-driven, and strong commercial acumen
- Experience in working across different marketing disciplines and channels
- Profound understanding of the DACH Market
- Leadership experience
- Cross-functional stakeholder and project management
- Excellent German and English skills
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
- First point of contact internally for questions regarding sales and marketing development in the DACH region
**DACH marketing strategy**:
- Develop and own marketing strategy for DACH together with the team and other functional marketing departments
- Stay on top of all marketing, promo, PR, etc. initiatives in the DACH market and make sure that all marketing departments are well aligned
- Lead and guide country marketing managers DACH in heading local campaigns and adapting global campaigns
- Come up with strategies, concepts, and ideas to grow our presence with existing categories and thus further advance our market leadership in Germany and Austria; align growth strategies internally (e.g. with strategy team, category managers, CMO, etc.) and lead execution thereof
- Understand and constantly screen the DACH markets, customers, competition, trends, and ecosystem and derive possible or necessary next steps thereof
- Always be on the lookout for potential partnerships in the DACH region and align with Strategic Partnership Manager
**DACH performance measurement/reporting**:
- Plan DACH financial targets and align with CMO and CEO, then own those targets and constantly monitor performance against that
- Have country targets constantly in mind and report performance regularly
- Keep a constant eye on marketing and sales performance in DACH and break them down into their drivers, understanding what worked well/what didn’t work well and why - draw necessary conclusions to changes that need to be made and align with relevant stakeholders
**DACH marketing squad leader throughout the organization**:
- Make sure that information regarding planned activities in DACH is shared throughout the organization with relevant stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional DACH Squad and ensure interests of DACH market are well represented and aligned across the company, both within functional marketing departments (CRM, performance marketing,..) as well as beyond
**ADDITIONAL FACTORS WE APPRECIATE**:
