**The Position**

RIB is seeking a **Chief Accountant and SPOC for treasury and Tax** who will work with the international teams throughout Europe, North-America, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific regions to provide advice, support and direction along the business strategy for the global finance organization. This role reports to the CFO of RIB Group.

This position would ideally reside in Europe - preferrable in an RIB side Spain (Madrid),
Denmark (Copenhagen), or DACH (Stuttgart, Berlin, Leipzig, Freiburg and Vienna).

**Responsibilities**
- Accounting Compliance:

- Key focus and alignment on IFRS 15 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers; IFRS

16 - Leases; IAS 36 - Impairment of Assets; IAS 37 - Provisions, contingent liabilities, and contingent assets
- Review of current practices in RIB Group subsidiaries and ensure compliance
- Ensure proper documentation for e.g. internal as well as external audits or business reviews
- Ensure alignment with SE RCOA, review correct usage of accounts
- Ensure correct accounting entries by using e.g. an automated four-eyes-principle

(should be e.g. implement within the new SAP system)
- Transfer Pricing and Management Fee:

- Review of existing transfer pricing agreement within RIB
- Alignment with SE Transfer Pricing principles and relevant coordination with SE

Tax/SE Finance
- Implementation of a consistent Transfer Pricing and Management Fee approach o Update existing transfer pricing agreements
- Establish process for new transfer pricing agreements
- Ensure accurate documentation for any internal or external audits
- Ensure awareness for the topic within in particular the Finance BP’s at RIB
- Balance Sheet Review:

- Identification of used accounting principles and ensure SE/RIB wide alignment where required (goes hand in hand with the above-mentioned Accounting Compliance)
- Balance Sheet analysis
- Identify areas of performance improvement (e.g. AP/AR)
- Optimal usage of idle cash if existing (align with SE Treasury where needed)
- General job view:

- Review of SE Group Accounting Manual and identification/discussion of needed adjustments/additions due to Software vs Hardware
- Regular exchange with the SE Finance and Tax Department as well as within RIB with the Finance BP’s
- Regular checks of IFRS developments and the respective impact on RIB
- Involvement in the implementation of new standards as well as the respective impact analysis
- Treasury:

- Implement and run global treasury approach
- Optimize bank account structure
- Be the SPOC towards SE
- Implement SE treasury standard
- Prepare and implement cash pooling
- Tax
- Be the Tax SPOC
- Coordinate within RIB and SE any questions around tax
- Risk & Compliance Management:

- Support the overall compliance organization in regard to Accounting, Finance, Tax and Treasury
- Legal Entity Simplification:

- Support the Legal Entity Simplification process
- Regular status reviews (RIB internal and with SE)
- Merging, disposing of or winding down of entities (one country, one entity principle where possible)

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and Accounting (or related field)
- 5 or more years of experience in IFRS Accounting and managerial accounting experience
- 2 or more years experience in Treasury and/or Tax
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a global business environment in English

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Management experience in Accounting and Treasury

**Skills and Abilities**
- Mastery of financial concepts, intimate knowledge of IFRS accounting and treasury
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership capability and change management skills

Pay: 90,000.00€ - 110,000.00€ per year
