**Your key responsibilities**:
As a People Partner, you will provide in-country policy expertise and HR expert knowledge to support and educate leaders, managers, and associates on all People &Organization topics. In this position you will support a highly international customer group enabling the delivery of lifecycle events, the employee value proposition, talent management, performance management, employee relations, rewards, and reporting. In addition, People Partners implement P&O change initiatives at a country level acting as change agents by working with global Business Partners.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Support all leaders and managers with their day-to-day P&O topics, providing advice and specialist knowledge
- Manage client initiatives, prioritize across business units and/or projects
- Act as strong sparring partner to people leaders and provide credible P&O People Partnering to all employees of the business unit
- Drive quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement for P&O related processes
- Act as interface to other People & Organization Units - e.g., P&O Services, P&O Business Partners, Rewards, Talent Acquisition
- Drive the execution of local implementation of organizational structure changes in line with country regulations / policies
- Collaborate and negotiate with local works' council / unions, provide advice for managers on labor law related matters
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues
- Provide mentorship and counselling on local policies and processes
- Collaborate with global Business Partner to drive organizational culture agenda

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:Essential**:

- Bachelor's or master’s degree
- Excellent level of German and English; other languages of advantage
- Minimum 5 years of HR Experience across the employee lifecycle of activities
- Experience in dealing with an international client group as well as a complex and diversified environment
- Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills, which allow you to build solid relationships and trust with a great number of partners of all levels
- High level of agility and resilience
- Ability to act as an ambassador for the P&O function and Novartis vision, demonstrating our values
- Proven project management skills
- Sound analytical skills and labor law knowledge
- Strong team player, desire to deliver high quality impact to your business units

For this position the minimum salary is € 52,204/year (on a full-time basis).
