**The Breakdown**:
Based in our European Headquarters in Innsbruck, we are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Director of Finance to join our team As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing all the financial aspects of the business with the main goal of achieving company's financial objectives.
**What You Get to Do**:
- Plan, implement and manage the overall financial strategy of Burton Europe by evaluating its performance and potential risk
- Lead, develop and provide guidance to the Accounting and FP&A teams
- Set up KPIs for financial performance in alignment with the GM and the global Headquarters
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning and reporting
- Oversee all aspects of Treasury such as banking, credit exposure, FX contracts
- Plan and manage all audit and internal control operations
- Be an integral part of Burton Europe’s management team, offering financial data and advice, and acting as a valuable resource, to be utilized in making complex business decisions and to be incorporated into strategic business planning
- Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guideline
- Oversee, develop and manage the company’s finance IT system, constantly initiating process optimization and improvements
**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:
- 8+ years of professional experience, including min. 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role
- Bachelors or Masters in accounting, finance or similar relevant field
- Proof track record and strong knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles (incl. GAAP, taxation, planning)
- Digital savvy with strong expertise working with MS Office and financial management software
- Strong sense of ownership and its high impact on the business’s success
- Innovative, critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Very strong leadership and communication skills with proficiency in English and German
