**The Breakdown**: we are seeking an experienced PR Manager to adapt and execute Burton’s global PR strategy within the European market. This is an exciting role that involves close collaboration with the EU Brand Marketing Director and the Global PR team based at Burton’s Vermont Headquarters to ensure effective implementation of PR efforts and elevate Burton’s brand presence in Europe.
**What You Get to Do**:

- Localize Global Strategy by collaborating with the global PR and regional brand marketing teams
- Ensure all PR activities align with Burton’s brand identity and strategic messaging, promoting consistency across all communications
- Media Inquiries and Networking
- Content Creation for press material
- Agency Management
- Event Management of press events, product launches, athlete appearances and other PR-related activities in coordination with local agencies and internal teams
- Represent Burton at industry events
- Coordinate Interviews of Burton Europe's Senior Ledership team
- Crisis Communication Support by working closely with the global communications team and senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze the performance of PR campaigns, media coverage, and market trends to provide insights and strategic recommendations

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably within the sports, outdoor, lifestyle, or fashion industry
- Strong media relations skills with demonstrated experience in managing PR agencies and external partners effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus
- Experience with and an understanding of affiliate marketing, digital performance marketing + SEO and its relationship with earned media efforts
- A strong passion for snowboarding, outdoor sports, and the Burton brand ethos
- Familiarity with PR analytics tools and social media platforms and the ability and willingness to adopt new MarTech tools
