Master Thesis: Sic Quantum Sensing

In your new role you will:
- Work with **Quantum mechanical simulations **of **SiC-based defects**:
- Work on **simulation models **for **precise magnetic field measurements**:
- Support the **design **and **fabrication **of **photonics **and **system-components**:
- Support the **SiC wafer fabrication **in a **professional cleanroom**
**Further Information**
Type of employment: Full-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
**This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.**
You are best equipped for this task if you have/are:
- A Bachelor’s degree in **Physics **, **Electrical Engineering **or similar
- A motivated **Master's student **from that field of studies from university or technical university
- Knowledge in **quantum mechanics **, **photonics **and **electro dynamics**:
- Basic understanding of **semiconductor fabrication technologies**:
- Independent personality with **curiosity **and skill to **adaptation**
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university (you must be enrolled and not on academic leave)
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)
- Reference letter (optional)
