is looking for a motivated Master's student for an exciting
Master Thesis focusing on quantum gyroscopes
.

Your Future Tasks Include

  • Experimental work in the Applied Quantum Sensing team
  • Design, assemble and test novel quantum gyroscopes based on solid-state spins in diamond
  • Develop novel quantum control protocols
  • Implement software and hardware solutions

Your profile

  • Enrolled master student (university in EU) in a related, technical field
  • Solid academic background in quantum technologies, solid-state physics, optics, or spectroscopy.
  • A passion for physics and a curious, open mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for Python programming and fast-paced lab work.
  • Motivation to tackle challenges and contribute ideas within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus).

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA). For this position, we offer a monthly gross salary of

Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is a top research center for Electronics and Software Based Systems (ESBS) .
