You are a motivated student (f/m/div)* who wants to write the master thesis in an international successful company? This specific job is suitable for students within technical studies in the field of Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar.
In this work you will focus on
**methods **to accurately estimate the
**internal temperature **of
**lithium-ion cells **using
**online electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) **. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting a **literature review **on methods for internal temperature estimation using EIS
- Analyzing **measurement data **in MATLAB or Python
- Identifying **characteristic frequencies**:
- Experimentally **validating **your **results**:
- Comparing and discussing the applied method with other approaches from the scientific literature
- Documenting your results by writing and submitting your master’s thesis

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months
**This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.**
You are a motivated student (f/m/div)* in the field of
**Electronics, Electrical Engineering **or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Strong interest and motivation in **cutting-edge research **on **lithium-ion cells **for **battery electric vehicles**:
- A profound knowledge of **lithium-ion cells**:
- Strong **analytical **and **problem-solving skills**:
- Experience in **MATLAB **and / or **Python**:
- Fluent written and spoken **English **and **German **skills
Know-how in the following areas is preferable - but not mandatory:
- Knowledge in **C programming **of **microcontrollers**:
- First experience with **electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) **in the context of **lithium-ion cells**
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)
