Master Thesis: Design and Implementation of

This master’s thesis focuses on developing and implementing an interleaved converter specifically for battery pack testing. Electric vehicles rely on battery packs composed of hundreds of individual cells, each requiring continuous monitoring by a battery management system to ensure safe and efficient operation. To simulate realistic driving conditions, a high current and high bandwidth battery test system is essential. The insights gained will help in the design of future battery management systems.
During your thesis, you will:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of **interleaved converters **and **batteries**:
- Enhance your expertise in **power electronics **and **system design**:
- Document and present your findings
The completion of a Master's thesis within the employment is possible and supported.
**This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.**
**Further Information**
Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed Master's student from the field of **Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering **or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
- Knowledge and interest in **power electronics **and **PCB design**:
- Knowledge and interest in **hardware assembly **and **validation**:
- An independent and self-motivated working style
- Willingness to work within an **international team**
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Bachelor certificate for Master students)
- Reference letter (optional)
