- As a Global Strategic Procurement Manager, you report directly to the Head of Global Procurement Polyolefins and assist in developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for ALPLA
- Your responsibilities include controlling and optimizing the supply chain management, such as purchasing conditions, procurement processes, and logistics efficiency
- You are also responsible for building and maintaining supplier relationships and providing support to international locations
- Additionally, you observe and analyze international procurement markets and explore alternative sources of supply
- Ensuring smooth material supply, monitoring contract quantities, and determining requirements in collaboration with various locations are also part of your duties
- Lastly, you lead central price and contract negotiations

**What makes you great**:

- Completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in international strategic procurement and dealing with global suppliers
- Excellent knowledge in contract negotiations, procurement strategies and processes, as well as in creating procurement analyses and concepts
- Strong teamwork, self-reliance, flexibility, dedication, and effective communication skills at all levels within the organization
- Approximately 25% global travel is required
