You can learn more about the world of OMV below: **Our business** **Your role**: - You are steering continuous analysis of national and European political landscape and legislative initiatives with a potential impact on OMV's business ("Alert System Management") - You have an in-depth understanding of public policy decision making processes on national and European level (e.g. Ministerial initiatives, parliamentary processes & Negotiations, council conclusions, etc.) - You are steering policy processes by managing legal requirements such as analysis of draft laws, by-laws, directives, regulations, position papers, political programs, declarations and others; In reverse: Active contribution by participating in public consultations, commenting on legal draft laws, by-laws, directives and regulations etc. with the aim to position OMV's interests in the best possible way ("Regulatory Affairs") - Group wide coordination of OMV's interests and position: active management and streamlining of the company's different business interests (Corporate, Upstream, Refining, Chemicals & Materials and Marketing & Sales) to set a focused and target oriented advocacy/lobbying management plan which reflects the company's strategic business targets; - You pro-actively support Business projects by ensuring a coordinated and aligned external affairs approach. This requires in depth understanding of OMV's business units (Up - Mid and Downstream), knowledge on working in/with diverse and multi-language teams, experience in project management (target setting, budget - and time schedule planning, awareness raising, stakeholder mapping, process monitoring and reporting) and of course profound know -how of the political and legislative environment OMV operates in - You manage OMV's interests externally: Lobbying of OMV's position in the public policy sphere; this includes active stakeholder management to ensure trustful, sustainable relations towards Federal Ministries and embassies, issue related single point of contact towards industry associations and interest groups (e.g. Chamber of commerce, Federal Industries Associations, Chamber of Labor etc.) which requires extensive experience in lobbying processes in Austria, experience on EU level being an additional asset - You advise OMV senior decision makers on their interaction with decision makers and institutions in the public policy sphere. **Your profile**: - You have a Master Degree in Law, International Relations or Business - You have minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience - You have strong business orientation and commitment, excellent communications/social skills, cross-divisional working attitude and the ability to work independently - You are fluent in German and English - excellent writing skills, high flexibility and stress resistance, attention to details and hands-on mentality, in depth knowledge of EU and AT legislative and regulatory processes, experience with lobbying processes, networking skills with an existing network of political decision makers relevant to OMV; extensive knowledge of European Institutions preferably through first hand experience **What to expect from OMV**: - We believe that we can only evolve and thrive as a company with a highly diverse mix of employees and by ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
