Logistics and Procurement Manager

The Vienna Laboratory Operations team is searching for a Logistics and Procurement Manager to help scale and modernise our current systems, as well as support our teams, as we rapidly grow. As Logistics and Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the sourcing of consumables, products, equipment and services as well as worldwide coordination of shipments to and from the Vienna site while working to automated and optimise those processes to support the growth of Exscientia.

**As the Logistics and Procurement Manager you will have the opportunity to**
- Plan and manage logistics including directing, optimising and coordinating shipment cycles of small molecules and biologics, patient samples and related products as well as laboratory materials across our different sites and study centres
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with key personal from various teams eg Clinical Operation, Laboratory Management as well as external providers to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

**Requirements**:

- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager, Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement preferably in a clinical or scientific environment
- In-depth knowledge about International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and UN3373 regulations
- Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Very good cross-departmental communication, negotiation and networking skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
