**Senior Researcher**

**in Strategic Communication, focusing on Digitalization**

Opportunity to lead a future research institute

FHWien der WKW - 40 hours per week - Gross salary €56,000+ p.a.

You will make a significant contribution to the foundation of a new research institute over the medium-term, with the opportunity to lead this institute in future. Your role will be to help position the institute and develop its reputation among research partners, commercial partners and in the media. Developing research projects will be a key focus of your work.

**YOUR DUTIES: STIMULATING**

Want to play your part in shaping the future? These will be your daily tasks:

- Strategic planning and direction of future research activities in Communication, Marketing & Sales, and Journalism & Media Management
- Successful development of major research projects and supporting their planning, organization and implementation
- Defining your research priorities in line with the latest trends, focusing on digitalization, professionalization and sustainability in organizational communication
- Producing publications and attending conferences
- Growing strategic partnerships in business and in the research community
- Teaching in BA/MA programs and supporting students

- Doctorate/PhD in a relevant field and postdoc experience at a university or other research institution
- Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication activity, international reputation
- Research in the fields of organization communication, digitalization or similar
- Experience with concept creation, raising funds and leading major research projects
- Hugely enthusiastic team player interested in helping position our soon-to-be-established research institute
