Data Scientist Intern

**Job Description Summary**: As a Data Scientist Intern, you will be part of GE Healthcare Women's Health, Zipf team and mostly work on machine learning & BI development projects which typically involves large and complex data sets. This requires work with multiple cross functional team.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:

- Develop new BI solutions, support new dashboard development & deployment for product quality and root cause investigations.
- Develop & support new machine learning algorithm (Descriptive and Predictive).

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Demonstrated skill in the use of descriptive and predictive analytics on semi or unstructured datasets.
- Prior experience or knowledge on Python/R/SQL and familiarity with AWS cloud services.
- Experience in ETL concepts and BI visualization tools like Tableau and Spotfire.
- Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances. Eager to pilot new ideas, Good communication and presentation skills.

The internship compensation is determined by the Collective Agreement for the Electrical and Electronics Industry and depends on the school level and the scope of tasks.
