**Fixed contract for 38.5 hours/week for 9 months**

**About the job**

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Management of research work packages within a Horizon Europe project worldwide.
- Comprehensive characterization of spent refractory material
- Support the development of an automated sorting equipment for mineral waste
- Generation of required inputs for life cycle assessment and techno economic analysis
- Lead collaborations for the development of alternative products design projects
- Support the regular project reporting to the European Commission

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education**

Higher technical education (MSc in either physics, process engineering, earth science, material science, or similar course of studies)

**Languages**

English - Proficient/Fluent

German - Proficient/Fluent

**Work Experience**

Basic knowledge and experience in mineral waste management and regulations

Fundamental knowledge of sensor-based sorting technologies

Basic programming skills (E.g., python, Matlab, VBA)

Some experience in leading technical projects, ideally related to refractories

The potential annual gross salary for this position is € 60.000,00 on a full-time basis. We value your education, skills and experience and will make sure these are reflected accordingly in your final set salary.
