Data Science Intern

**Job Description Summary**:
As a Data Science Intern, you will be part of a GE Healthcare Women's Health Voluson team and mostly work with commercially-facing development projects, typically involving large and complex data sets. This requires mostly work with ultrasound leadership, product management, customer care, clinical and data lake team.

In this role, you will analyze billions of machine log data and develop various predictive & time series models.

**Responsibilities**:

Deliver the solution, analyze trends propose ideas & findings to product management team
- Collaborate with various internal teams to analyze datasets for business insights

**Desired Qualifications/Requirements**:

Skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, and predictive analytics on industrial datasets
- Experience on Python/R/Matlab/SQL and familiarity with AWS cloud services like AWS S3, Redshift, SageMaker and other ML Packages
- Experience in ETL concepts and BI visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire etc.,
- Experience/Knowledge in Healthcare Industry would be a plus
- Great passion in big data, machine learning, and AI
- Good communication and data presentation skills

Compensation is according to the Collective Agreement Electronics.
