From an organizational perspective, the professorship is assigned to the Department of Economics at the JKU. The teaching load is reduced to 2 semester hours per week. Furthermore, it is inseparably linked to a secondment to the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) in Vienna, accounting for 50% of the employment commitment. Moreover, fostering connections with the _Energie Institut der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz_ is encouraged.

A salary above the minimum amount (which is currently 81,571.00 € before taxes) as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered. On the part of the sponsor, an excellent provision of resources for the position is also pledged.
