As the Sales Fieldforce Training and Development Lead (Manager), you will develop and deliver our commercial training strategy for our sales reps and key account managers in Austria, aligning the regional and cluster T&D plan with the local business strategy and needs, as well as ComEx leadership requests. By partnering with Business Unit Heads and Sales Managers, you will enable our commercial team to be at their best when they interact with pharmacists, doctors and other health care stakeholders, maximizing our impact on the sustainability of the Austrian healthcare system.
**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead development of the commercial T&D strategy for customer facing teams in sales, marketing, and others where appropriate, ensuring close alignment with current business strategy
- Partners with functional leadership to identify future business needs and interpret consequential future competency and skill requirements. Develops associates’ commercial competencies and position the business for future success
- Conduct structured training needs analysis by role and individual to understand current and future development requirements
- Develop and implement T&D curriculums to enhance functional skill and competencies based on your expertise in learning theories and methods
- Source and manage vendors to develop and deliver bespoke training programmes. Build strategic partnerships with vendors to ensure a quality service
- Deliver against a robust set of relevant metrics to measure impact of the curriculums
- Develop, share, and monitor a Sales Management Process to ensure First Line Manager engagement in coaching both the personal and business development of their teams
- Measure and monitor First Line Manager and salesperson activity for engagement to identify further training needs
- Interpret and share dashboard data (Qliksense) to ensure adherence of the above for KPIs

Minimum Requirements
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential**:
- University degree in Education, Business Administration or in the Life Sciences
- Experience in training sales representatives in the life sciences industry, preferably with experience in sales and sales management in pharmaceuticals
- Strategic and business acumen, with the ability to partner with the commercial leadership team
- Outstanding people, communication, and presentation skills combined with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude
- Proactive team player
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency in German and English required (spoken and written)
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant business experience

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €60,212.18/year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies. We are open for part-time and job sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
