We are looking for a Lab Technician to drive breakthrough innovation in our R&D department, overseeing lab operations, training peers, and actively participating in cutting-edge projects focusing on animal nutrition and health. Seeking a hands-on problem solver passionate about science and lab work to join our dynamic team.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Perform laboratory experiments and analyses (bioactive ingredient formulation, drying, mixing and characterization) with precision
- Collect, record, and interpret experimental data accurately
- Contribute to the development and optimization of experimental protocols
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment

- We offer you an income based on your qualifications and market conditions, with a minimum annual gross salary of € 35.000 on fulltime basis. Depending on experience overpayment is possible.

- Type of employment: Full time for 38,5 hours / week, temporary contract for 12 months

**You bring**
- Education in (Bio)technology or in a related technical, chemical, or biological field from technical school (apprenticeship, HTL) or B.Sc.
- Experience in working in a laboratory and/or demonstrated expertise in different areas (enzymology, biochemistry, microbiology) would be a plus
- Good communication & documentation skills in English. German is a plus.
- Experience with common lab organization & supporting tasks
- Team-focused and goal-oriented work ethic combined with a positive mind set, hands-on mentality, and ability to adapt with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
