R&d Lab Technician

Looking for a proficient technician to drive breakthrough innovation in our R&D department, overseeing lab operations, training peers, and actively participating in cutting-edge projects focusing on animal nutrition and health. Seeking a hands-on problem solver passionate about science to join our dynamic team.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Managing lab operations incl. responsibility for devices, lab areas, and trainings
- Planning, preparing, and conducting experiments in different areas (enzymology, biochemistry, microbiology)
- Support of in-vivo trial preparation and conduction
- Implementation of and compliance with SHE & Quality procedures and instructions
- Troubleshooting & problem solving, processing & interpretation of data, and documentation of results
- Scientific knowledge exchange and teamwork

**You bring**
- Education in (Bio)technology or in a related technical, chemical, or biological field from technical school (apprenticeship, HTL) or B.Sc.
- Experience in working in a laboratory would be a plus
- Experience with common lab organization & supporting tasks
- Willingness to work with animal-derived samples (e.g., urine, feces, blood)
- Team-focused and goal-oriented work ethic combined with a positive mind set, hands-on mentality, and ability to adapt & respond effectively to changes
- Good communication & documentation skills in English
