**About the opportunity**:
An exciting career opportunity for an astute finance professional has become available in the EMEA region. You will work alongside our Leadership team and have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the region.

As the **Finance Manager **based in Vienna, Austria, you will be responsible for the preparation of all financial reports and be intricately involved in daily operations, as well as serve as the point of contact for statutory reporting.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Key objectives for this role entail preparing all weekly (Cash-Flow Forecast, Revenue Reporting), monthly (Financial Month-End Report, VAT, ZM), quarterly (Statistic Austria) and yearly reports (Year-end reporting, tax returns, company register) to head office or external authorities
- Managing relating accounts receivables collections, legal steps and valorise contracts
- Managing relating accounts payable preparation of weekly cash-flow reports and weekly pay-outs
- Work with the Finance Director to ensure that robust financial systems and processes are in place and are adhered to.
- Establish and maintain close partnerships and collaborative relationships with other leaders in finance and operations to ensure your success
- Investigate, implement, and track efficiency improvements that maximize revenues and reduce costs (development and review of internal controls)
- Ensure suitable benchmarking activities and financial KPI tracking is in place to support management’s decision making
- Liaise with the Corporate team to ensure cash flow is managed appropriately
- Input to the budgeting and forecasting process, working across the business and relevant support functions to identify any variances and to identify any opportunities or mitigating actions
- Support Shared Services and Corporate finance in the completion of any corporation on sales tax filings
- Understand and provide advice on local regulation and legislation and how they will likely impact the business

**Who are you?**

We are looking for a talented team player who has a strong background working for a technology-driven business, and who displays the following skills, knowledge, and attributes.

**Background and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred
- 3-5 years experience in Finance with advanced knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
- 1-2 years supervisory experience of small teams
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English in both writing and speaking
- Proven ability to manage through change
- Advanced knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
- Strategic thinker and decision-maker
- Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving
- Team spirit with a strong ability to communicate properly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Responsible, proactive, autonomous and flexible in organizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for continuous training and extension of knowledge.
