**About the role**:
In this position you will be responsible for the Supplier Quality department at the Vienna plant and you will have to implement the Supplier Quality elements in alignment with global procedures.

**How you will contribute**:

- Lead and develop a team of 5 Supplier Quality experts and senior experts
- Assure compliance of Vienna Supplier Quality with international guidelines and Takeda Global Quality Standards
- Partner with global Supplier Quality function for the further development of internal standards
- Maintenance of existing suppliers and qualification of new suppliers worldwide working for the manufacturing site in Vienna according to the Takeda internal business process (audits, quality agreements, supplier changes,)
- Plan and execute supplier audits (max 10%) in agreement with the global Supplier Quality function
- Prepare and maintain quality agreements
- Support material deviations for the Vienna plant and evaluate investigations performed by the supplier
- Develop and maintain material specifications for the Vienna plant
- Support of the manufacturing site Vienna in case of questions concerning suppliers (problem solving, monitoring, complaints)
- Support the preparation of authority audits and represent the Supplier Quality processes at such audits
- KPI Reporting

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in natural sciences or engineering.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Knowledge of the global regulatory environment in at least one of the following areas: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices or a related field
- Excellent change management, people management skills and strong communication skills
- Leadership experience required (line or matrix)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English (ability to write clear and concise reports)
- Good communication skills in German are desirable
- Necessary soft skills such as open communication, strong team orientation, persistence, negotiation skills
- Willing to travel (max 10%)
