We are currently looking for a vehicle control design manager (M/F/d) for our Mobility location in Vienna.

**Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented**

Technically and organizationally, you lead a team of experts who are responsible for the electrical and IT integration of proprietary and third-party components in the vehicle.
Your team's work is based on requirements that you clarify in discussions with internal and external customers. As KV vehicle control, you have ultimate responsibility in your team.
Together with your team, you create the specifications for the electrical subsystems of the vehicle or work on them together with other KVs.
For vendor parts, you are also responsible for creating the electrical parts of supplier specifications.
Coordination talks with internal and external customers as well as with other KVs are part of the daily work routine.
As the person responsible for costs, deadlines and quality in your area of work, you will regularly report to project management and line management.
As part of your job, you often have to travel to customers, suppliers and other locations.

**Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate**

You have several years of professional experience in the field of rail vehicle technology.
You are familiar with the components of a rail vehicle, especially a modern metro. You understand how it works and have experience in embedding and controlling these components using the vehicle control system.
They have knowledge of regulations and protective regulations for electrical equipment on rail vehicles.
They have knowledge of the functions of the control and management technology for rail vehicles.
You have knowledge of programming programmable logic controllers (PLC). You are familiar with the software development process as part of the V-model according to the CENELEC standard EN 50128:2011 and EN 50657:2017.
You have experience in leading expert teams of up to 15 people.
You have excellent German and English language skills (C1).
